In the Danielson Framework, the third domain is focused on instruction done by the teacher. It has five main parts to it and the first two are about communicating with the students while the next one talks about how to help the students communicate in the classroom and learn how to create a proper discussion. The third domain also has components that instructs the teacher of what type of language the educator should be using with the students. The instruction technique is crucial to the learning of a student because it determines if the student takes anything away from the lesson. Language is also a huge factor because if you use words that a student cannot connect with the lesson is lost in their knowledge base. Also, the teacher needs to be flexible with their lesson plan. Every classroom is different and each student learns at a different pace. The teacher needs to keep this in mind when instructing their students so that they can be effective. Below I will explain each component further in domain three of the Danielson Framework.
